See how the system builds available packages from your travel period, departure country and one or more destination countries.

From €17 eligible Schengen journeysMultiple destinations one trip can include several countriesLive packages based on your selected itinerary

Travel insurance plans and cover include eligible Schengen options starting from €17. The final price and packages shown depend on the selected travel period, country of departure, destination countries, traveller details and available plans.

The quotation system allows you to select more than one destination country for the same journey. Enter the complete itinerary so that the packages presented reflect every country you intend to visit.

How pricing worksThe €17 amount is a starting price, not a fixed price for every traveller. Your live quotation is calculated after the system checks the information entered and identifies the packages available for that journey.

What affects travel insurance cost?

The price is based on risk and eligibility information submitted during the quotation. Changing one part of the journey can change the options or price presented.

What can travel insurance coverage options include?

The protection presented during the quotation depends on the selected plan. A benefit is only available when it appears in the applicable certificate, schedule and policy wording.

Medical and assistance

  • Eligible emergency medical treatment
  • Emergency hospital expenses
  • Medical evacuation where included
  • Medical repatriation where included
  • Emergency assistance services

Travel and personal benefits

  • Eligible baggage loss or delay
  • Certain travel-delay events
  • Trip curtailment where included
  • Personal accident benefits where included
  • Other benefits shown in the schedule

Limits, sub-limits and excesses

The headline medical limit does not describe every benefit. Individual sections may have their own monetary limits, per-item limits, waiting periods or excesses. Check how much you must contribute to an eligible claim and which evidence is required.

Territory and policy dates

The geographical area must include the complete journey. The insurance period should cover the relevant departure and return dates, including overnight flights where applicable. Include transit destinations when required by the insurer.

What is not automatically covered?

No travel insurance policy covers every possible event. Exclusions and restrictions vary, but customers should pay particular attention to:

  • Pre-existing or ongoing medical conditions unless specifically accepted;
  • Routine, elective, cosmetic or planned medical treatment;
  • Known events or circumstances existing before purchase;
  • Travel against applicable government advice or policy restrictions;
  • War, civil unrest, terrorism or related exclusions;
  • Alcohol, drugs, unlawful acts or travel against medical advice;
  • Extreme, winter or adventure activities without suitable cover;
  • Unattended belongings or claims without required evidence;
  • Events outside the insured dates or geographical area;
  • Amounts above a benefit limit or below the applicable excess.

These examples are not a complete policy exclusion list. Read the wording supplied with the option offered to you.
