Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making AnyTravelInsurance.com understandable, navigable and usable by as many people as reasonably possible.
1. Our commitment
AnyTravelInsurance.com is operated by Ionut Balan. We want visitors to be able to find, understand and use the site regardless of disability, device, input method or assistive technology.
Our design and content work targets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This is a practical target and not a claim that every page or third-party service currently achieves every success criterion.
We also take account of applicable accessibility obligations, including requirements relevant to services covered by the European Accessibility Act.
2. Measures we take
Accessibility is considered through design, publishing and maintenance. Measures include:
- clear heading structures and descriptive page titles;
- keyboard-operable navigation and visible focus indicators;
- responsive layouts that support reflow and zoom;
- colour contrast designed for readable text and controls;
- alternative text for meaningful images and empty alternatives for decorative images;
- plain-language explanations for technical insurance concepts;
- descriptive links that make sense in context;
- reduced-motion support where animated effects are present; and
- periodic checks of templates, forms, consent controls and high-traffic pages.
3. Current accessibility status
The website is being progressively reviewed against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Automated tests can identify some issues, but they cannot confirm full accessibility. Manual keyboard, zoom, screen-reader and content checks are also important.
We do not currently claim formal third-party certification or complete conformance. Problems reported by users are prioritised according to their impact and the feasibility of a repair.
4. Known and potential limitations
Despite ongoing work, some content may not yet provide an ideal experience. Potential limitations include:
- older images whose alternative text needs refinement;
- third-party widgets, consent interfaces or embeds with limited customisation;
- documents or graphics supplied by external providers;
- long insurance terminology that remains complex even after explanation; and
- temporary focus, contrast or reflow issues introduced by plugin or theme updates.
Where a known issue creates a material barrier, we aim to offer the information in an accessible alternative format on request.
5. External quotation and third-party content
AnyTravelInsurance.com links to SoEasyTravelInsurance.com for quotations and insurance purchases and may link to other external resources. Those sites are controlled by their respective operators and have their own accessibility arrangements.
If a barrier occurs on the external quotation platform, use the accessibility or support contact provided there. You may also tell us, and we can direct the feedback to the appropriate route where possible, but AnyTravelInsurance.com cannot directly change third-party code or guarantee its availability.
6. Feedback and accessible alternatives
If you cannot access information or complete a task on this website, email contact@anytravelinsurance.com with the subject Accessibility request.
It helps if you include:
- the page URL and the task you were trying to complete;
- what happened and any error message;
- your browser, device and assistive technology, if you are comfortable sharing them; and
- the alternative format or communication method that would help.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five business days and to provide a useful response or update within 15 business days where reasonably possible. Complex technical changes may take longer.
7. Review and complaints
This statement is reviewed when important templates or services change and periodically as part of website maintenance. The update date above will change after a substantive review.
If you are dissatisfied with the response to an accessibility issue, ask for it to be handled as a formal complaint under the Complaints Procedure. This does not limit any right to approach a competent authority or seek independent advice.
